..~ToupayToupays' body fell from the trees, her whisper grew on as her paws lightly touched the ground. Her body carried her far from the base camp, and into the woods. Finally it was time to escape being a priestess for a little while. She loved the God, Armone, but she also loved to ahev er own time. Peace for all was her one thing she loved, but she also had take time off from all that. Maybe a swift hunt would do so, and maybe, out here, she could see one of the hunters. Her pack was well organized, specific hunts were also planned, but she didn't keep them there in camp. Everyone was allowed to leave, never would she entitle them to stay. As for her, it would be safer to stay in the pack and in safety, but she didn't like being so enclosed. Her thoughts lingered a bit, and soon she came upon a hill. She looked down it and her gaze changed to looking far beyond. The Candid plains was in view, she was between the Jagged Woods and the plains, right on the Rolling hills. This place was so peaceful to her, she would hate to lose it. Armone must have created it for that reason, for wolves to find peace in themselves. She breathed in and out, feelng the cold wind against her fur. It was amazing, being there in that vicinity. Her own heart was vibrating with speed and happiness. The harsh days of winter didn't strike her this day, she could feel the smoothness of the wind. She cold almost fly with the feelings, someday she would bring the pack here to worship Armone for the peace. It would be soon, she promised that much.
She pressed on down the hill, taking in her breath and thinking. She had to think of her pack now, being on her own was enough, but she also had a duty. Her body turned back up the hill and she felt herself running. The wind got stronger and rain was soon pelting the ground of which she stood. The smell was intoxicated by rain, wind getting stronger and she felt almost a bit of slush mixed within. It was the morning, this was almost impossible to miss. She brought in a slight prayer and headed back towards camp, trying to get in beneath the trees to take shelter against the pelting sleet. She soon stopped, going beneath a tree and diciding to wait. Ity was all just rain, but as much as she hated it, the cold wind was what really got to her. The only way to avoid was to go with it, but the camp was the opposite direction. She sighed, going by the tree where it sheltered her against the wind and rain. She then laid down, brought her head low and prayed to the Gods. The air thickened with the smell, and the sun soon pretuded out of the clouds. Morining it was, but also cold and raining. It was winter, and to prove the peace at heart she had to face it. She got up then and ran back towards camp, but only at a pace good enough for her. She got to the edge and the wind started to settle, she could feel her presence close to the Jagged Woods and Camp. The rain soon settled, and only fell at a slow pace. She looked back, hoping that she could return to the place. Maybe she would take another wolf with her, so they both could feel the peace. Her thougths lingered and she sat down, looking back at the peaceful hills.

yes, snow was pretty. with it's delicate flakes that fall so softly, floating on the winds that traveled that rather like whiplash that cut through the bones and trees of people. But winter was harsh and cold, and Huzzah's pelt did better in the spring, when his pelt matched the bark of a growing tree or fall. Oh, the fall season was absolutely gorgeous with his beautiful fur, with copper and orange and that lovely rustic brown that was everywhere. Gorgeous.
EXCEPT FOR THIS GOD-DAMN SNOW. It would stick to his stilt-like legs in large clumps which he would have to lightly nibble and breathe on because if he even so though about tearing it out, it would leave uneven patches on his otherwise even-cut fur.
Swiveling his large ears and frowning, he strode on, letting his knife long body cut through the wind, which ruffled his fur. It felt nice on his face, although it was quite chilling. Nonetheless, the wind would certainly help with his complexion, he did try to be a model.
Armonir eh? A social butterfly had to flutter where the honey was sweet and open, and what better to be where there would always be wolves, ready to glorify his eyes, his coat. He had plenty of admirers back home, he'd be sure to have many more.
And then he growled in his low octaves when the snow, turned darker and into sleet. Howling in horror, feeling the drops on his back he raced to the trees that surrounded the plains, and rested lightly against the bark, being careful that no moss touched the beauty of his fur. With a huff from his muzzle, Huzzah turned and started to slowly groom his coat with careful, slow process. Like he was performing open heart surgery instead of grooming his coat. He had to groom it, shaking the sleet from the his pelt would just ruin everything.
Stalking onwards, Huzzah tilted his head this way and that, trying to locate anyone or better shelter. This sleet was horrifying. With a sniff and a smile of pleasure, Huzzah continued his stride forwards and thanked the gods for not only his handsome coat, but his senses as well. Surely, he was one of the god's favourite wolf or they would have damned him long ago.
Although the rain had stopped at such a hard pace, it was still raining and that wouldn't do. He hopped forward and with a nice hum from the back of his throat, he smiled broadly and again thanked fate or whoever watched him. greetings miss. he said, with a raise of an eyebrow and walking beside the wolf and eventually standing close the female. He was quite the lady-killer, perhaps she was from arminor? this was going to be easy.

..~Toupay Toupay turned her body to the voice behind her, her gaze switching over the body of the wolf in front of her. His gaze seeming to be of in need of something, more like a pack. Yet here he was trespassing, in her and Armones territory, and even then she couldn't attack him. It was not the way, she had to take it peacefully, after all they were a pack of peace. She looked forward as he stood next to her, she let out a seemingly enough sigh and went forward, then turning to his direction.
He seemed a bit off from any regular wolf, he was skinny. And earlier he was humming, maybe for his luck. She wouldn't give him that though, only wolves whop were to bring peace for the pack and protection could get in, he was an outsider. And yet he may have beautiful coat, she wouldn't allow him to come in unless vowed for loyalty. She sighed again, knowing that even as a Priestess, she would have to either accept him in, or out. Her breath escaped her one last time before speaking, "Greetings. You know that you are on Armones territory of peace don't you? And knowing you, you will realize that being welcome isn't all well." She then gave him a glare, seeking answers and his intentions. Just then she had wished she was able to change her color, so maybe the wolf wouldn't recognize her, if he hadn't already. But even then now was to late.
Really she didn't even know why he was here, more likely to pass by, just get thought the area, if that was what he wanted, but her reaction was easily guessable, and a definite answer. No. If the wolf wanted through, he would have to go around, he would be a disruption and scare off some of the prey, but by guessing at what direction he got there, then she would know that he had already cut through half of the territory, how did he surpass the guard? Was it because he was of the hunt? If so, she would guess easily how he did so, he would make a fine hunter for the pack. But if he was of the guard, more likely not just by his shape he would also make a fine Guard.
Retaking her thoughts in she realized he would make a fine addition to the pack, but if he were to betray then it would also be a bad decision. Her thoughts were off, it wasn't like he would be able to injure wolves and even then did he even want to join? She had to keep the pack together, what if he was dangerous and she accepted him? She prayed a slight prayer to Armone, making herself feel better consciously and physically, she was of the Guard, Priestess of the Guard, this was her duty to take in. If this wolf did want to join, then she decided it would be best if she brought him in, then her and Castor could decide together. This wolf would be dangerous, but he seemed peaceful. Yet if she did bring him in, he could be a danger in the pack, he could be leading some type of attack. It was decided, she would see how the wolf was, suspect anything of him, then if he passed then she would bring him in for decision. The wolf seemed Hansome enough, she wouldn't be surprised if wolves became immediate friends with him.

Oh a white wolf? His orange eyes glistened and almost seemed to gaze over. Aura-seeing, it was called. Did you honestly think Huzzah just ordinarily saw the colors around the wolf any time he wanted to? Oh please, no way. The colors were something he had to concentrate on. And then he saw it, a warm green like the seasons of spring, bouncy yet concentrated. Not yet bright enough to hurt his eyes, but perfect to shine like inner light. Now, he knew that could change, the auras differed in shape, radiance and color depending on the intentions they hold. He watched as it changed and shifted, as green grew to dark gold, gold the sign of a leader or high rank. And finally, it grew sharp and cold with caution before returning back to it's original color.
Shaking his head rather forcefully, he smiled and bowed low. Greetings, priestess. and yes, i indeed know where i am. i have the intent to join your pack. he said cooly before raising his head and giving an award-winning smile of sincerity.
She had interestingg intentions, he had never seen spring green before. he rather liked his ability, being anyone's personal mood ring. it made lies easier to detect, and much more simpler to detect who was a bad guy and who wasn't. The sad thing was Huzzah had no clue what color he was, was constantly. He always thought of himself as a bright yet burnt orange. Burnt being darken with shades, not that disgusting sizzled black orange. A nice, cool color, like himself.
Stepping forward, eyes drifting upwards to the sky and then back to his soon-to-be priestess. Indeed, he would join this pack, it was obvious, it was the truth. Who would turn down such a handsome fellow with his gentle eyes and sincere stare? Or what Huzzah hoped to be sincere and gentle. thy name, good lady, is Huzzah Festivity. Hoping to be joining your ranks as a hunter. He smiled brightly, feeling confidence radiate around him, although he could not see it with his eyes, he could feel it coursing theough the marrow of his bones.

Toupay bowed her head low in respect back to Huzzah. Her pose rising a bit and standing like a Priestess. She then took a step forward, to wards Huzzah until she was almost a whole wolf length away from him. He showed responsibility, and caring, but beneath all that he could sense a bit of sarcasm, but he was hiding it and trying to sound better. He really did want to join, strange. Before she even brought in his request she spoke smoothly and casually, "It is an honor to meet such a fine Hunter, to surpass through such territory unnoticed. My name is Toupay, Priestess of Armonir pack and server of Armone himself." She rose her head higher and raised her chest, showing her significance and how she intended to deal with things.
Toupay had no intention to hurt him, or straight out refuse his request, but instead keep on hold. Until she truly decided why he must. Before he could, he must give reasons and once in the pack itself, a vow. If he refused then easy, he would be exiled from the territory, and from Armone himself. To live here, you lived in peace, to stay here, you must protect. Protection though didn't seem to fit for Toupay. She was unprotected, by any of her members, but she was of the Guard also and with Armone himself. Her prayers must have been heard, this wolf was bowing down to her, showing that he had no control over the situation and was willing to give himself up.
She then decided to ask some questions, he would have to answer if he wanted anything. Her smooth breathing continued, and flowed well with the wind, her voice continuing the rhythm, "And you wish to be part of my pack great Hunter? It will take more then bowing. What do you have to offer for my pack and do you have a reason?" She looked at him with a slight glare showing she wasn't about to let a stranger in. She refused to trust anyone outside the pack, besides the other Gods and Goddess. And besides Castor himself, she never was close to anyone. She was of demanding attitude sometimes, but he would get used to it, really she wouldn't be with him as much as the Guard, and he wouldn't take many orders from her. Only from Castor, who was the Hunter and Priest of the pack. She sighed, keeping her gaze on him.

Oh? Darling, it wasn't that hard. no gaurds, or none that he could see. It was true Huzzah was sneaky soul, sly with his emotions and badgerings, but he couldn't help bu hum with praise. Despite the fact he knew it and she knew it, his ego swelled and his chest went with. After all, this wasn't a common wolf, but the priestess herself, who probably sat down and had tea with the gods themself. Truthfully, he was more of a loyal servant to Faro, fate, destiny and life, for he truly believed he had been humbled by the lord's very paw. But she didn't have to know that did she?
thank you priestess. he rumbled from the back of his throat, warming up to her. Well, until she asked that question.
He visibly grimaced with displeasure, and his ears flickered to the back of his head. Huzzah highly doubted she would take a coward into her ranks, even though he was indeed a rather superior hunter, when the weather was good, he wouldn't lift a paw if anything bloody or bad happened. He had heard the packs were fighting, and well, not a good sign with a past like Huzzah's.
So he shot a smile, and winked. Of course I do! Obviously, I am a runner, and with such sly movements, i shall truly make a wonderful hunter. But persona has driven me here, I am a social butterfly, eager to be in the company of others. What better ay than to get such a thing than to join a pack? A soul that grasps for the hands of others does not bode well with being alone.
[/b] Well that sounded okay! Indeed, what he said was the truth, and he looked hopeful. Do not ask, he pleaded with Faro, Do not ask the fated question. Anyways, if she did indeed ask about his previous life and he went with it, he could always stretch the truth. Fires, a war. Perhaps treason or murder, wrongly accused. Oh they did sound wild and crazy, but some wolves did have to go through such pain an misery. Yet Huzzah was not wild about lying, all auras, when being lying, turned ice cold and made the wolf shiver, the lights hovering above them short, spiky, often shifting between light grey and the color of reflected ice on the ocean. Not that he could see his aura, but still, he could feel it.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Toupay nodded at her reply, but she wasn't very happy. His comment was obvious, but what struck her odd was that he actually wanted to be here, yet he made sure to add a bit of sarcasm. The comment was very noticable, but she didn't let it get to her. He probably meant it in a completely different way, yet she could mention it just to get his true ego out. If anything, he might go with the joke, then realize it wasn't. Toupay went foward , passing Huzzah by a couple steps before stopping, then turning around and sitting next to him.
"Yet you fool around saying my pack is irresponsible, did I forget to mention I was Priestess of the Guard? Hm, fatal, and unwise. You say your just a fluttering butterfly roaming for a pack. Tell me, how have you lived such a long time like that? Surely you would have died." Toupay smiled looking at him and meeting eye to eye. Though it was only a side view, she could still see clearly the color of the eyes. They matched well with his fur and coat.
Maybe Castor really should decide, he would be well with it. Hadn't she already decided this? It was getting fustrating, but she had the upperhand of the conversation. She was Priestess, maybe she needed more prayer, either that or he had already answered. Armone could have given her pack a new Hunter who could do well. She shook her fur, and the scent of a storm grew near, they would have to leave soon if he was staying.
She refocused her thoughts, something wasn't going right. This wasn't smooth enough if it even was. She had hope for the best, and prepare for the worse. "If we are to leave, it should be now. A storm is coming, wouldn't you like a walk through the territory your going to join?" She smiled turning around and waiting for him then. Now he had to choose between Armone, and the other gods. She could already sense his reply churning in his throat, and she could sense that he was a pure one. She wouldn't doubt if his power was his looks, he would get a good mate over that. She smiled again, wondering how somethings came to be.

The smile fluttered to a surprised look, eyes wide and mouth open in an o shape. He was struggling to come up with a proper reply, apparently, he would need to work on his skills, or perhaps she was used to such a flirt? His ego sagged from underneath him and bit the inside of his cheek. His skills, his charm, he fought to figure out what was wrong, for the gods were kind when it came down to Huzzah and his skill.
Priestess! Of course! She would have a chosen mate, and to properly guide a pack, they would be a couple. His surprise turned into understanding and he nodded. His charm did have a habit of waning in those who had already commited themselves to another wolf. Although that wasn't entirely true. Huzzah managed to flirt and do other deeds with mated wolves, it all depended on flair, happiness, and perhaps what both wolves are willing to go through for a cause they believe is correct.
I wasn't always a loner. I was pack wolf, but my heart went into adventure. i left my home, but i miss the bonds created between pack brothers.
[/b] His ears flickered backwards, and he bowed his head in soft rememberence. He had pack brothers a long time ago. But that was a long time ago, in a different land, when Huzzah was a different man. And what he said, was more or less the truth. Raising his head, leaving the station aboard the train of thought and he blinked, following Toupay's line of sight and his ears went from the back of his head to flicking forward and he smiled brightly. I would love a tour! It would be an honor to travel amongst your side.[/color] He hummed once more and trotted over, his thick, bushy tail from side to side. [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

The priestess took no time at all to continue on through the meadow and into the woods and protected against the soon to come rain. She shook her fur quickly and walked through at a decent pace, not to fast to miss the details, but not slow enough to everything. Smiling and looking at the Jagged Forest, she was happy to be in Armones peaceful area and territory. The area grew vast and she turned to the wolf, decent in his own mind. She was suprised he didn't have a mate already. He seemed to have his own gift as well. She realized then that she could use more facts about him, get to know him a bit more.
"So, Huzzah. You know this area well? It is the Jagged Forest, close to our camp. But we shouldn't venture there quite yet agreed?" She smiled, letting her head hold high in the air as her eyes met his again. He was hansome, but she did have a mate, and he was much more honored to the role as hers. Huzzah would have to get his luck, she was sure in camp he would immediately catch the eyes of others. Her smile grew and continued the walk now.
The air on them was thick now, and she could here the rain slapping the trees and the sweet humming that followed by. He should be honored to be in such a territory. She still wanted to know of his own ego and his pure powers, she had to make sure he was a pure wolf and he would have to prove it. Smiling once again she looke at him while they walked, "And your powers as a pure, would you enlighten me?" her steps grew on and her tail swayed. She would love to see what he had as a gift from the Gods. She didn't know yet if she would share hers, she rather keep it secret till he was officially in the pack. Now that she actually knew much of him, she really didn't see anything to wrong about him. He would have a great time in the pack, and she was glad they met at all.

He listened and smirked his own smile when she twittered on about the woods. It was a lovely place, when it wasn't raining and damp and mucking up his pretty pelt. Although she did manage to tweak his interest about the pack's camp. He was hungry for the knowledge that she dangled in front of his nose, the carrot of curiosity so to speak.
He shrugged as he continued after and Huzzah's ears prickled and underneath his thick pelt, he shivered. With sharp eyes, he grinned. to say simply, i am a lie detector. i see the auras that surround a wolf, and depending on moods and intentions, their auras change.
[/b] Although, of course, with such powers, there were drawbacks. Sadly, Huzzah was rendered motionless while watching, and he couldn't see his own aura, which was quite troublesome for him. If did have a aura, he would hope it would be copper or orange, or maybe even rainbow, simply because he was the very best. He looked at Toupay and smiled. consider me your personal mood ring.[/b] and he laughed at the thought, enjoying the way his low octaves rolled like small waves around their area. Despite it's unlikely yuckiness, rain had that soft smell that intoxicated his nose, and was pleasant on the ears.Perhaps he could get used to such weather once he was in Armonir.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
